Terms
Voting and learning are free. Anyone may vote in the site’s own elections and take every lesson without an account. Today’s vote is a practice count; the official count is on Official Mock Election Day, November 2.
Organizers. An organizer is an adult who signs in to make and run elections. The organizer is responsible for what their election says: titles and choices are checked against a blocklist, voters can report an election, and three reports hide it from new voters until the organizer clears them. Elections that abuse the site may be closed by MockElection.com.
Tickets. A secure ticket is used once and never returns to your balance once issued. Tickets from a Classroom Pack or a book never expire. A Classroom Pack is one per account per school year; if a second is bought, its tickets are added.
Purchases. Classroom Pack, $10, 100 secure tickets and open elections up to 100 voters: sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout, which is the seller of record and handles tax and refunds under its policy. Election Month, $99 per 1,500-ticket book of secure tickets and open elections up to 1,500 voters: sold by MockElection.com; if your election doesn’t run on Official Mock Election Day, November 2, 2026, we refund the $99. Write to vote@mockelection.com.
No warranty. The site is provided as it is. We keep it running and keep backups, but a mock election is a lesson, and we make no promise beyond doing our best to keep the booth open.
Law. These terms are governed by the law of Ohio.
